We received all the short stories for our magic-themed anthology, Of Enchantment, Enigma, and the Infinite! We can now announce the final roster of authors for this first of our themed anthologies. Preorders are forthcoming.

The Final Roster

Readers of our first anthology, the cross-genre Of Shadows, Stars, and Sabers, will recognize some returning names, as well as many new contributors. We are enthralled to reveal all the authors whose magical stories will be included in Of Enchantment, Enigma, and the Infinite:

Ai Jiang, Alice James, Angela Sylvaine, Anne Corlett, Chris Panatier, Cynthia Pelayo, D.K. Stone, Dana Gricken, David Quantick, Dennis K. Crosby, Eddie Robson, Eliane Boey, Eugen Bacon, Guido Eekhaut, Helen Glynn Jones, Ian Green, J.L. Worrad, James Bennett, Jenny Rae Rappaport, Jonathan Maberry, Kali Wallace, KC Grifant, Khan Wong, Lili Hayward, Lizbeth Myles, Mya Duong, P.A. Cornell, Ren Hutchings, Renan Bernardo, Sarah L. Miles, and Somto Ihezue.

We are incredibly proud of this tremendous lineup of 31 writers and each magical-themed story they’ve written. Some are whimsical, some are haunting, some are sly, others are mysterious, and all have some form of magical element to them. We think you’ll be just as enchanted as we are by these tales!

We are featuring each new writer on our News page, so be sure to peruse those as we roll out these articles over the coming weeks.

What Happens Next?

Now we begin to build the book. We’ve edited each story and received revisions. We’ve arranged the stories into themed sections in the manuscript, and next we will hand this off to our Associate Editor, Scarlett R. Algee.

Once all our edits, front and back matter, and other materials are collected into the final copy, it will be formatted for publishing. Then the final covers for the paperback and hardcover editions (aka, the backs of the books, as the front cover and ebook cover is finished) will be made. And after that, we will prepare for general preorders in the near future.

Those who contributed to our crowdfunding campaign will be pleased to know that we will be hand-packaging your copies of the book this summer. Publication day is set for August 5, 2025.
