Publishers Jendia Gammon and Gareth L. Powell of Stars and Sabers Publishing acquired the breathtaking horror, science fiction, and fantasy short story collection Fantastica Horrifica, from award-winning author KC Grifant (the supernatural western Monster Gunslinger series, via Brigid’s Gate Press; Shrouded Horror: Tales of the Uncanny; Dragon’s Roost Press). With 21 horror, science fiction, and fantasy stories and poems, award-winning author KC Grifant showcases siren songs of desperation, sacrifice, denial, codependency and survival. Mothers, dreamers, and lovers deal with cosmic terrors, some snatching a semblance of vengeance along the way. Publication is slated for April 2027.

We are delighted to work again with KC Grifant, who has contributed short stories to our anthologies Of Shadows, Stars, and Sabers, as well as Of Enchantment, Enigma, and the Infinite. Jendia Gammon and KC Grifant will also co-edit the Weird West anthology Of Terrors and Tombstones (2027).
